We have our own fantastic research team, called Grounded Research, which means you can get involved in and lead studies that you are interested in!
And, we are leading the way with our inspiring community based research.
We are also winners of the Nursing Times Clinical Research Nursing Award 2019 for our work on increasing access to research for patients and carers, for the work with patient research ambassadors and for opening a clinical community research hub.
Around 15 million people in England have a chronic condition and they account for about 50% of all GP appointments. Treatment and care of these conditions accounts for around £7 in every £10 of total health and social care expenditure. This is a complex field urgently requiring novel research based interventions – our research is making a difference, improving lives.
Since forming in 2014 we have consistently sought to work with some of the UK’s most vulnerable people. Our research is innovative, relevant and applicable.
As well as being delighted to welcome research participants to our new Community Research Hub we understand the importance of taking our research into the field. We believe that research can, and should, involve everyone.
Our entrepreneurial outlook means we deliver high impact, high value research across a range of themes including:
- Mental Health
- Nutrition and behaviour
- Offender Health
- Oral and dental health
- Workplace wellbeing
Our research is possible because of our dynamic, innovative, flexible partnerships which cross traditional sector boundaries. We know this is the best way of generating research which really matters to our community.
